Hugh is an Executive Coach in private practice in San Francisco. He provides individual and team coaching to executives and managers seeking to augment their leadership skills. He also provides group training in team building, effective influencing and presentation skills.
He is a facilitator in the ‘Interpersonal Dynamics’ program at Stanford Business School, which develops students’ awareness of their influencing patterns and increases their leadership effectiveness. He is also a facilitator with the Posse Foundation, a non-profit organization that identifies talented high school students from less advantaged backgrounds and guides them through graduation at top-tier universities.
Hugh has worked at senior levels in the US with a Fortune 100 company, and in Europe with one of the high-performing corporations on the London Stock Exchange. He holds an MBA from Stanford Business School and a Law degree from Trinity College Dublin. He completed his coach training with the Coaches Training Institute.
Outside of work, Hugh is a bit of a sports nut, especially when it comes to rugby. He is a past captain and coach of the San Francisco Fog RFC, twice winners of the Mark Bingham Cup, the world cup of gay rugby. He also enjoys putting the GayRelate philosophies into practice in his dating adventures.
