GayRelate Program |
The Program
GayRelate is designed to help you find greater intimacy in your life. It focuses both
on your relationship with yourself and on the barriers that get in the way of your
creating an intimate relationship with a special other. GayRelate provides an opportunity
for gay men to explore what relationship means to them in a supportive environment,
accompanied by 11 other gay men.
Weekly Format
Over 8 weeks, GayRelate participants explore specific topics on intimacy and support
each other towards realizing their relationship potential. Two coach/facilitators will
help you gain insight into existing self-limiting behaviors, challenge you with new
perspectives, and support you in learning and integrating new patterns into your actions.
Commitment
In order to maximize personal learning, each program is limited to 12 men. GayRelate
is experiential, so participants must be committed to participating actively in their
own learning and in making change happen. All potential participants will meet with one of
our coach/facilitators to ensure a match with with program objectives, as well as other
group members.
One-On-One Coaching
Optional one-on-one coaching is available in addition to our weekly meetings to help
participants deepen the learning and make action plans to incorporate new skills into their lives.
